Guthmann Construction Celebrates 25th Anniversary
Charlotte, NC (August 24, 2017) - Guthmann Construction, an industry leader in residential renovations, is celebrating its twenty-fifth year of doing business in the Carolinas.

Since 1992, Guthmann Construction’s has successfully built custom living spaces at a competitive price, maintained client relationships through exceptional customer service, and upheld its reputation for consistent communication, master craftsmanship, and attention to detail. “As a kid, I enjoyed playing sports and being a part of a team,” said Rich Guthmann, owner and CEO of Guthmann Construction. “In the fall of 1991, a widespread economic recession severely affected my work at a construction company. I came home and told Vickie we had two choices: unemployment or self-employment. We chose self-employment and Guthmann Construction was born. For the past twenty-five years I have had the privilege to work with a team of outstanding men and women including employees, subcontractors, and vendors. Presently we have twelve employees with a combined total of 135 years of service with Guthmann Construction. We have been welcomed into the homes of wonderful clients whom we now call friends. Vickie and I got our wish: our winning team. Thank you for the past twenty-five years and Guthmann Construction is poised to serve for many years to come.”
On February 5, 2015, Rich Guthmann announced a gradual transfer of ownership of his company to Production Manager Rick Haase and Architect Tony Gray.

In regards to the anniversary, owner and Production manager Rick Haase said, “We made it to twenty-five years because of excellent, dedicated employees that care about each client. Our subcontractors and vendors have been vital team members, and we have had wonderful, creative clients that have worked closely with us to make each project a success.”
