Kitchen Islands with Beverage Coolers
The kitchen island has gone through several transformations since the simple butcher block table. Many versions today include prep sinks, concealed cabinetry, and a raised bar for additional seating. Designers also incorporate dishwashers, microwaves, and warming drawers in an island.
Beverage coolers are also designed into the kitchen island, and options include under counter refrigerators, wine coolers, or integrated drawers for drinks and ice. In addition to keeping wine, beer, juice, soda, and bottled water chilled, this also allows for older children to easily grab fruit, juice boxes, or snacks. The coolers can have doors that match kitchen cabinetry or drawers that can either go with the cabinetry or appliances.
